  1. Had this on a TR6 and turned out to be a jammed cam follower. Engine not turned in years. Regards Harry
  2. There is plenty of traffic regarding these hubs so it is worth it to bring it up again and thanks. Regards Harry
  3. Blown or supercharged Tr.s any other modified Tr,s you will be very welcome. Regards Harry and Dan
  4. I have fitted the Cambridge annular clutch kit with all the hydraulics inside the bell housing and it works really well. Using a pedal stop so not to over-stroke it and the travel is much less and lighter it is a win, win. If it leaks a gearbox out I am afraid. Cambridge Motorsports have sold many and good feed back. If I had Marco's skill I would make the same. Regards Harry
  5. Nothing wrong with those mirrors. Majority of TRs have them. I would leave alone and sell your lucky find on. Regards Harry
  6. Please don't mess around get a new wiring loom. I stripped out a burnt wiring loom and when investigating even further into the wiring loom it was a mess. Do not risk it! Regards Harry
  7. I am not qualified but will not use it. Think there is an article in the States of why they do not use it. Check it out. Regards Harry
  8. I had this problem and despite having it calibrated etc.. after a rebuild it still flickered. I changed the speedo drive and cable but still the same. Spoke to overdrive services and they suggested it could be the drive worm gear for the speedo angle drive. There is a bolt just up from the angle drive which locates the worm drive. I changed it for a new one and bingo it worked in my case so now a happy bunny. Not saying it could be the same as yours but something to look out for. Good luck. P.S. I cleaned the inner cable and coated it with graphite lock powder.
  9. I love these with the bonnet stripes and yours would be silver, but does not detract for being a very nice car. The colour I am somewhat biased as my (TR5) is in Jasmine. Enjoy! Regards Harry
  10. Not so good as the previous pics but inside a church reception. Regards Harry
  11. Try Classic Car Developments (Alisdair Southall) as he manufactures these and could share his measurements with you. (www.classicdrivingdevelopment.co.uk) 07812 766789 Regards Harry
  12. I do know this one and its owner and surprised he is selling it. Regards Harry
  13. This has all been sorted on an earlier post thanks to Bob Ledbro. Regards Harry
  14. My K6 is under the glovebox area. Hinged on a drop down purposed made cage and secured by spire clips. I have been running my EFI since 2010 and been relatively trouble free. One hot water sender kaput, one coil pack with a misfire, Crank sensor tried to make a run for it but overall very, very good. Changed out for Heritage throttle bodies in 2017 (I think) and that induction roar is fab. EmeraldM3D are a great company and Dave Walker (company founder) is a guru on EFI and training up a younger guy to take over his mantle.
  15. Here you go Waldi. Had to take a pic on my phone. My scanner and printer is playing up. Hope this comes out ok. Bore size a bit under 1/2" Regards Harry
  16. Yes it should fit. The prop shaft is the same length with or without the overdrive. Tom Cox will build you one of course. Address and phone number inside back page or Traction mag. Regards Harry
  17. My dash gauge LEDS are green and too bright when I occasionally drive at night. I have bought two different electronic dimmers for LEDS and do not work. Before I waist any more money what is out there that works and easy to fit. I removed the rheostat years ago and fitted a clock in its place. All gauge lights are working as they should but need dimming. Nine LEDS in the gauges. Can you advise please. Regards Harry

  19. As this is going to be a regular feature I believe, Dan Smith and I will be running this class this year(2024) again along with Graham Andrews. Hence the appeal for heavy modified TR,S. (TR7V8,s are too common) but other transplants (TR7) such as Mazda etctra will be welcomed. Supercharged TR,s would be great as we have not seen many of those at all. Register with Graham Andrews and we will then be on hand to direct you to your Spot. Regards Harry and Dan.
  20. Any luck with these kits Steve. I would like two please when available.
