Hi Steve, I don't think there are many out there who can adjust a MU, certainly on a rolling road, hard enough to fine someone who can do Webers! anyway that's a pretty good power/torque graph, the new TLE will help and does come with a boss in 3-1 collector. Andy

Hi Steve, Have you got a lambda sensor boss on the exhaust? if not make sure you do on the system. Andy

I was after new rear discs from Goodparts but ended up getting them from a company called Torqen who get parts shipped from the US every week, shipping was only £8.99. We did discuss the possibility of getting good shipped to their place in the US and then getting them over on one of their shipments?? Might be a possible alternative Andy

Hi Nick, + 1 for Gosnays in Romford, did a block and a crank for my 6 last year, proper old school. Speak to Bruce Andy

Hi John, I think it depends on where you are getting the parts from and what their policy is, I recently tried to get some bits from Goodparts and they will not ship to the UK or EU anymore so I would have needed a freight forwarder which wasn't cheap but normally it's should be vat + carriage. i'm sure they will Michael, never too old to learn a new skill!! Andrew

Hi, I tried to get some bits from Goodparts last week and they no longer ship to the UK, you would need a freight forwarder Andy

Hi, More of a general question than technical, I have just enquired about getting some bits for my TR6 from Goodparts and it seems they can no longer accept orders with a UK shipping address due to the change in UK tax laws and I would need to get a freight forwarder, I did check the cost and it ranged $125 - $175 which is nearly as much as the parts cost. Is this a new thing as I managed to get a delivery from a different US supplier in July Thanks Andy

Hi, years ago I had a miss fire on a Peugeot 504, was fine at lower revs only did it under power, tried everything, then pulled the head, turned out to be a burnt inlet valve. Just a thought Andy

My limiter is set 7k with shift light at 6400, I was feathering the throttle when the limiter cut in at the end of the back straight at Thruxton, maybe that could have contributed to the fan belt jumping off

Another bonnet to add to the thread, mine was painted probably about 18 years ago - Royal Blue , base + lacquer, after about 5 years the paint started to lift around the bulge and has slowly crept since then. Bit like Jean, thought it was heat so added exhaust wrap, started life at the size of a 20p and now like this, really time I got it sorted.
