  1. Any bright ideas ? I want to fit a boot light that comes on when to you lift the boot lid. As you probably know the TR5 doesn't have a boot light and the hinges don't lend themselves to fitting a plunger switch like you get on a TR6. Just wondered if anyone else has done this and I'm looking for ideas. I'm thinking of using a brake light switch on a small "L" bracket fitted to the flange top left inside as you look forward into the boot. This would be activated on/off by the boot rack mounting bolts. But before I carry on, I thought I would ask.. I guess this must be applicable to TR4A's
  2. Hi Kevin Thank you very much. I have a fairly std TR6/road car and I will going with my partner. So our wish is to just to have some fun around the track without the normal road restrictions and traffic. And.... to let my partner (Fiona) have some practice driving a TR.. Best regards Bill
  3. Hi Kev I've booked this, but I want to check to make sure I can comply with the rules, as I've not done this before. Do you know where I can find that information ? Thank you best regards Bill
  4. Hi everyone I'm considering buying a scissor platform lift and wondered if anyone has had any experience of these. I have 2 on my shortlist, both adverised on ebay (links below) which seem to be good quality/good price etc. I've toyed back and forth with a 4 poster/2 poster and other scissior lifts, but this type seems to be the best compromise and best fit inside my garage. Both are around the same cost/delivered etc. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ON-OFFER-2-PLATFORM-3-TON-HYDRAULIC-ELECTRONIC-CONTROL-SCISSOR-LIFT-1179-VAT-/121067061604?pt=UK_Lifting_Moving_Equipment&hash=item1c
