We replaced an old Morso Squirrel last year for various reasons & bought a new Danish model which we are very pleased with but beware of recent regulations in regard to distances from floors & walls etc, chimney lining & heaven knows what as it is a minefield these days with regard to wood burners. Some chimney sweeps in our area will not go near them unless the specs. are absolutely perfect!

Haven’t had much luck with an oil cooler on a TR! Had one on my TR4 fitted by the previous owner & on one of its first runs with me a stone or something punctured it & I lost all the oil over Witney shopping arcade during a classic car run!

Hi John, Did my gliding @ Swanton Morley. I fly into White Waltham occasionally with my friend in his Jodel. Good cafe there & almost unchanged from the 60’s. Worth a visit.

That is what I use now that Millers 20/50 has got expensive. Usually I collect it from the Classic Oils stand @ Kop Hill.

I think you will only notice any real slight difference if you change both the wheels & tyres to a narrower configuration.

It’s Pendine! Always pricey!

If you arrive in a classic then there is a discount & dedicated parking.

Might get there again this year but also another good show on in Tewkesbury same day! Been to the Beaulieu event for the past 2 or 3 years, always a good day.

This coming weekend @ Woburn Abbey. Annual Tiger Moth & other Moths Rally. If weather good this is a superb event with usually a great classic car display. TR's more than welcome!

This was a lovely event. Small, friendly with some great cars on show & visiting. I think I was the only TR4 so next year give it a try. A super drive from Gloucestershire & a great little show.

This event tomorrow (5th July) near Henley-on-Thames welcomes all TR's &'others. See website for details.

Great event this weekend, Kop Hill @ Princes Risborough in Buckinghamshire. Lots of unique & wonderful cars going up the hill & in the paddock/display areas. Some TR's too! Chiltern Region will be there & so will we! Probably one the best events in UK. Be there! Cheers.

This Sunday 24th August the excellent Beaulieu Classic day @ the motor museum. A great event last year with many cars & TR's. Reduced admission if arriving in a Classic. Sports car theme this year.

This weekend @ Woburn Abbey Moth meeting. A good selection of classic cars along with large gathering of Tiger Moths & derivatives. Subject to weather of course but last year was a great event on the Sunday! Added bonus this Sunday will hopefully include a fly past of 2 Lancasters which are on an unique tour for a couple of weeks. Cheers, Monty.
