Thursday its operation stop leaky 6 sump gasket.the aim is a drip free 6 ;-)

Oh no your fiddling again, dont overtighten front and rear sump bolts Martin, or you will have a big oil leak followed by loss of oil pressure. This happend to my mate Pete, one front sump bolt blew out followed by contents of his sump all over the road,he heard the bolt bounce back off the road and pulledmover swiftly, thread had gone on ally cross piece.

Solenoid fitted on the O/D today,guess what Le Mans is on.....boom

Well the replacement O/D solinoid has arrived from ORS today, will fit it on saturday, fingers crossed it works, if not the Le Mans will be off, no time left to sort , hey ho !

Better day today carpet fitted,seats fitted ,Aframe fitted,new O/D switch (momentary )not fitting well so back in with the old,logic will just have to wait!MOT booked for next week so I will have the wind back in my hair soon

So its operation flywheel off on Monday, to replace the seal on the end of the crank, then wednesday I pick up the refurbed box and o/d from ORS…..
