  1. Happy Birthday. You must use the forum more often.

    Good luck :)

  2. Hi Stuart,

Have you got a spare hydraulic reservoir for my TR3A that you could alter for me . I am working on a project to get the lid on the tin can to be clear of the bonnet internally. It is on the forum and I do not want  a new unit from Moss etc.

Please let me know if you have any answers.

    Thanks Richard & B

  3. Do you have stock of the 3A fuel pump. Who is the expert in your stock?

    thanks Richard & B

Richard - I have got a small stock of OE AC Delco fuel pumps which have all been rebuilt by Dave Davies.

If you want one, they are £80 each plus postage (£5) on an exchange basis for a genuine OE AC Delco one, not a repro. You keep your glass bowl and securing strap and re-use - I do have replacement bowls and replated straps if required - these are £10 and £15 respectively .

If interested to pursue, please email me on rcreweread@gmail.com with contact and address details and/or call me to discuss

Thanks for the offer. It is a lot more expensive than I was expecting. I will think about it for a bit and get back to you.

      Thanks Richard & B

  4. That would be Darryl at Racetorations at least 32 years ago.  Did it cost much ? Thanks for the reply.

      Hi Richard

The price was very fair, the workmanship was excellent, Sam (the workshop Manager) is an perfectionist, the result is an axle better than at any time in the previous 23 years of ownership.

The axle needs to come out of the car to set up correctly, i'd also recommend new inner and outer bearings are fitted at the same time, it's good for the next 50 years then.

Gentle drive to Gainsborough and an overnight in an air B&B, perhaps take in the sights of Lincoln City?

      Take care

      Andrew

  5. Thanks . I have sent a pm

  6. I do have an original overhauled RB106 which is in an air proof bag. It is made from proper copper, not recycled co. as in some foreign makes, and is a proper dated unit in first class order. I woyuld be pleased to sell it to you. It will need minor adjustment every 18 months but it will work properly. Cox Automotive carried out the overhaul and it is like new.

Send me a personal message if you need it.

  7. Happy birthday . I have the same name but I am one year ahead of you..

    Good luck

    Richard & B

  8. You have a very fine dog and we look forward to meeting up again.
