  1. We still have a couple of spaces left for the Brands Hatch track day on 6 December. Anyone fancy it? Book on the TR Register shop under events Brands Hatch Indy Circuit - 6 December 2021 (tr-registershop.co.uk) Kev
  2. Goodwood - Thursday September 23rd TR Register members have an opportunity to join a track day at Goodwood on Thursday 23rd September run by John Willcocks, an instructor at Goodwood. The cost is £295 for the day with a maximum of 35 cars running in an open pit-lane format with a maximum of 10 cars on the circuit at any one time, so there will be plenty of track time. This is excellent value as summer days at Goodwood are usually between £400 and £500 per day, so this is a "not to be repeated" offer. This is the last day John is running this year and his days are always great. The
  3. I look forward to reading all about it in TR Action
  4. Nice one Hamish. It's a great circuit for a TR3 isn't it. Kev
  5. Just in case you fancy it, we've had a cancellation. Call Jo in the office if interested. kev
  6. Thanks for all the input chaps. kev
  7. Ops missed this sorry Neil. Spectators aren't currently allowed, so the answer would have been "No, sorry." The good news is that if the Covid rules changed as planned on 17 May, spectators will be allowed (and welcomed) at our Castle Combe track day on the 18 May. Now that's what you call timing. So if you a fancy a blast down to Castle Combe, you'd be very welcome. Kev
  8. I can't be the first who has a two year old who wants to "go" in the TR. I'm trying to find out what I have to do to make this happen legally. My car is fitted with a racing harness in the passenger seat and not a diagonal belt. Strangely I can't find anything on this website (I must be doing something wrong) The gov.uk website (Child car seats: the law: When a child can travel without a car seat - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)) says: "When a child can travel without a car seat. A child aged 3 or older can travel in a back seat without a child car seat and without a seat belt if t
  9. We've had a cancellation so there's one place left. Call Jo in the office on 1235 818866 if you want to secure it. Cadwell Park - a great circuit. Kev
  10. As well as the sprint and hillclimb championship where you'll get lots of advice and encouragement, you may also find it helpful to book a couple of track days. Because of the 2 hours or so of track time over the course of the day, It'll help you get to know your car, build your speed during the course of the day and even play with some of the settings. Book in the TR Register shop Track Day (tr-registershop.co.uk) Kev
  11. Just to let you know that all the track days are now available for booking on the TR Register web shop. So whether you fancy Brands Hatch, Cadwell Park, Donnington, Goodwood, Snetterton or any other you'll find plenty of choice if you book now. Kev
  12. Motorsport UK is pleased to announce that organised Permitted motorsport can resume in England with effect from 29 March, subject to local restrictions and in accordance with its own Restart Guidance. Motorsport activities in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and the Channel Islands are subject to prevailing government guidance in those devolved territories and we look forward to announcing updates relevant to those nations in due course. The Isle of Man is not subject to a lockdown at this time. This confirmation follows the announcement on 22 February by Prime Minister Boris Johns
  13. Just to let you all now the 2021 registration documents for our Revington TR / TR Register Sprint and Hillclimb Championship are now available to download at https://www.tr-register.co.uk/motorsport Back in 2019 we had about 40 people register providing good fields at most venues. It'd be good after 2020 if 2021 saw a bumper entries. Take care and remember to have some fun in your TR - when allowed. Kev
