    TR6 heater fan

Thank you everybody, yet again the Internet and forums like this have shown their worth. I have now got a motor, new old stock, from Graham. And yes, Mike C, I will also be changing the heater core while I am at it. Thank you again, everyone.
  2. Hi all I have just had Wilson and Sons in Leven go over my car. It had only done 28 miles since 2015, and I bought it on Bonhams auctions in August. Most was ok on the car, I need a new wing on the drivers side, which I have bought, with fitting kit, so that will be ready my bodyshop man. One thing they did point out is that I need a new heater fan, as the one in the car keeps blowing the fuses. I have just checked on Rimmer bros and a heater fan is no longer available. Has anybody got any suggestions where to get one from, new or secondhand, please? Many thanks in advance

    TR6 died

My apologies all for the late reply. I have changed all the fuses as well as rotor arm and coil. I found a red wire going from the live on the battery and downwards. Without getting the car in the air I am unable to see where it goes. It has an online 20amp spade fuse. It was blown. I changed that as well and the car runs so well now. All the guages work, and all is good. And yes I did check for fuel, with the car being new to me it could easily have been that. Thank you for all your input and suggestions. It.really is appreciated and invaluable.

    Fast road cam

Hi all Apologies for the late reply. Again, it is absolutely invaluable the amount of information, knowledge and experience on here. I wasn't at all sure which way to go. I am selling my 2010 S class to use the Triumph, certainly forn6 months of the year. The weather here in the east of Scotland, Fife, is not always the best, and with the summer mostly been absent this year it has not been ideal. But it is as said invaluable to be able to hear everybody's experiences and advice. I have decided to leave it alone. Once laid up for the winter I will have the head off and see what,

    Fast road cam

I believe the head is still standard. The person I bought it off has not used the car really at all and he was not sure, although he mentioned he bought it off his friend. It is injection.

    Fast road cam

Would any of you please be able to share your experience with fitting a fast road cam, please? I will be going everything engine related to make sure it is as reliable as possible an also make it a bit more driveable on longer journeys as well. Thank you very much in advance

    TR6 died

Hi all 1972 injection I am hoping you might be able to help. I went out in the tr6 on Monday. It.was drizzling a bit, it was damp. All was going well, engine sounded really crisp. Came around a corner and the car died. It wouldn't start again and I had to get roadside recovery. One thing I noticed was that the fuel gauge, which was showing half full, was now showing empty. Battery is good and strong, I can hear the fuel pump going. Why would it die suddenly like that and not start again with the fuel gauge no longer working? I have just ordered some new fuses. Thank yo

    Engine oil

Hi Thank you for accepting me onto this register. I have taken delivery of my TR6 this week after accidently winning the auction on Bonhams online auctions. I have done a little search on here hoping to find information about the best engine oil for it. My TR is a 1972 model. Would some of you be kind enough to let me know which engine oil you find works best for your TR's, please? Many thanks in advance
