Hi My amp meter bounced about while driving and did not give a steady reading. If I turned the lights on with engine off, it still bounce about until it finally give a steady reading. I solved the issue by removing the sealant on the tiny screw on the back of the meter and tightened the screw is little to give the needle a little more resistance.
