I fancied a TR3 from being a young teenager when my father told me he had driven a friends old and rusty TR3 into a warehouse for storage. I tried to get to see it for some time and then for around 10 years I tried to buy it unseen, but my father always told me his friend would not sell it. I found out later that was untrue and my father simply did not want it filling up his garage! When I moved out of my parents home I had my own garage built and then went looking for a TR3 but ended up with a TR4A to keep my partner happy with a reduced wind in the long hair effect.  Very happy with my choice.
