Hello all. My, new to me 7 has a Newtronic electronic ignition module which was probably installed 30 years ago in all reality (less than 10k miles ago!). What I’ve noticed is that it’s still running its original ballasted coil. Now it seems to run ok although I’ve not really taken it that far. I’m sensing a slight hesitation developing as the engine has been running for an hour or so and I’m currently refreshing the ignition side of things which are equally as old (30 years). My question is that I thought electronic ignition always uses a non ballasted 12v coil. Am I wrong? che

Hello all and seasons greetings! Have any of you come across Aspen fuel? I've been reading the Morgan OC mag and there is a letter in there explaining that it's ethanol free and might be especially suitable for machines being stored over winter. The Dutch importer is investigating it's use in classics. So has anyone used it either in their car or in their lawnmower(!)? Cheers Dave
