Great, VUX sailed through the MOT today with no advisories!
-
Put around 25 miles each on TuRK and VUX this morning just to keep the wheels turning - nice sunny day but flipping freezing with aeroscreens fitted to TuRK - thank god for VUX's screen! At last, my knee held up in TuRK – happy days!
-
Painful physio session - feels like a set-back!

'No pain, no gain' injured this knee in 1994, then again in 2005 and consequentially back in October..........not recommended.

Oooops - just realised that VUX's MOT expired on 8 August; two days before I went to the IWE!

Phew, that wasn't very nice, but the back has eased off now - helped by copious amounts of Easter Eggs! :-)
-
Andrew, you need a dolly.
-
Stan, once I had pulled my back I moved the enigine around on my trolley jack - should have done that in the first place.
-
Just had a great drive out in TuRK and had almost forgotten how rewarding it is driving a sidescreen in the sunshine!

Preferred browser for a good while - Safari none too bad either!
-
Too many website incompatibilities with Safari on my Macs so it's FF for me now.
-
my brother in law is a bit of an IT wizard and suggested we use FF some years ago - good choice
-
Cracking day yesterday so drove TuRK (3A) to work (hey, that rhymes!) – off today, so VUX’s (6) turn to get a good blast in the sunshine!! :-)
-
Managed to get the 3A and 6 out this afternoon and Andy B enjoyed his trip out in TuRK, and now wants to buy a 3A – good choice that man! - that is after I changed the points and condenser to get TuRK going! Anyone seen the film ‘Christine’? :-)
-
is hacked off again - just got TuRK ready for a quick spin round the block and it's started to rain - conspiracy!! :-(
-
Yep, Roger took the hard top off of our 4A as it was such a lovely day. before he had put the top it away it had turned cloudy and as we drove out of our road it started raining. By the time we got to The Crown at Capel it was raining quite hard and we discovered the surrey roof stay had broken and we had no umbrella to take its place. Inside of the car got a soaking while we had a very nice lunch.
-
Went out in mine anyway, very cold very wet, nothing changes.
-
It's a bit different with aeroscreens fitted Paul...........my brolly won't stay up! :-)

is extremely hacked off: 3 bouts of ‘man flu’ since Christmas and it’s still lingering, tore a calf muscle last week in the gym and now I’ve put my bloody back out – what more can go wrong?!!

Guy – it should be gone by the IOW, but if not you’ll be ok as long as you don't kiss me or Neil! :-)
Peter - Yes, I intend to back into fitness if it kills me! :-)
-
What more can go wrong ? Maybe the little blue pills will stop working . . . !!!
-
OUCH torn calf muscle, been there done that, Take it steady they can be a bugger to fix....
-
Took the TR3A and 6 out today for a spin (bit bracing!!) to keep things moving and Baldrick came too - more days like this please! :-)
