    My TR6pi is running like a dream, after 6 months off the road I am now out and about in it.. I plan to go to Germany next year in it for the 50th Anniversary of the TR6 and also to the TR European meeting in Pamplona Spain In September 2019. Roll on!!!.

      i take it that you had new liners fitted correctly this time then.was it a good outcome with the company that first did the job .

      Hi Roy, They expressed no concern over the fact, in my opinion, they took too much metal of the block before inserting the sleeves. As it was 14 years ago it was out off warranty. Not interested.

    I have had my dropped liner and the other 5 taken out and the engine block re sleeved with lipped liners. All the parts re assembled and now it is running. Just needs final tweeking.

    My TR6 is now completely finished. It has now a Spanish Historic vehicle registration plate. Only took 4 months to do. Beautiful warm sunny day, took it out for a 40 kms furthest the engine has run in the last 25 years.

    Been back home in Spain for a couple of days now. The weather is sweltering, 38 degrees celsius. Off to Seville Friday, for a couple of days, even hotter there!!
