Thanks guys it is a 28% A type, tested and guaranteed working no gearbox. Had it years and I’m trying this year to have something of a bits rationisation exercise. John

Not on the wing I have mine on the doors see photos in this thread what I would say is where ever you fit the bullet mirror make sure the passenger side works for you I couldn’t locate mine in any useful site so went for the Tex type John

An update, local news is reporting the Solway Aviation, reached it's target, and that the project to dismantle, and transport the Beverley to their site near Carlisle has started. Nice to post a good news story. John. -

Spot on John. the plenum has an opening in the back to match the dash vent. It has a bottom lip that’s only(from memory) 25/30 mm If the drain hole is even partially blocked then the chamber is easily overwhelmed- hence the wet knee I effected a cure having blown most of the debris choking the drain hole out, with a piece of Ally liberally smeared with a good mastic between the plenum and the Black foam. Its awkward but if the Ally comes about halfway up the vents Black body you’ll still have some fresh air facility Must be 15 years since I did this and no wet kn

Thanks for th equick respones chaps. No probs with the celly thinners, but I don't have an ultrasonic bath, wandering now on the thoughts on, an overnight soak in thinners then a rinse and blast in the dishwasher? John.

Hi Steven, the end is a bit tired, though it won't take long for anew one to look like yours does around the location holes. If I were you I'd buy a new one, my experience is that good used are all somewhat marked. John
