Dear sean 77...start at the fuse box on one of the fuses you,ll see 2 red wires,, on the opp.side there will be some red and green wires ,so thats the correct feed.. the red cables are the supply to all the lights make sure cables are on the fuse box secure ,,if ok go under the dash and wiggle the loom with the light switch on ,,with luck you,ll probably find loose or dodgy bullet connection.. ihad the same prob.. ihave a cd with the complete brown repair manual on it if you so wish get back on here to let us know how you get on bill aylesbury duck
  3. I have a tr6 restored by chris carter of chestnut house sports cars ,and people still ask today who did it .It was restored in 1991 bill faulkner TR6.1972 credit to that restorer
  4. is there any chance of damaging the block ?? i was thinking of making up some form of extractor!! bill
  5. These are in my TR6, they are MX5 in velour and vinyl trim, warm in the winter and cool in the summer, as you can see they fit and look fine. They've been in a 1 yr and have been fine. Bill Faulkner Aylesbury, Bucks.

  8. bit late i know..i tested these the other day connected both on the bench ie 2.2 w and 3.0 w for about 40 mins they were still ok to touch, if anything the 2.2 felt a tad warmer[THINNER GLASS ? ]
  9. THE RUNNERS SHOULDN,T MOVE SIDE TO SIDE YOUV,E CHECKED ALL THE SEAT BOLTS ?? TAKE EM OFF AND HAVE A LOOK ..GOOD LUCK..PS SORRY ABOUT UPPER CASE I FORGET.....

I am in the process of fitting mx5 seats in my tr6 . at the moment i,am altering the runners ie making the ends flat etc.what i,am finding the runners are very stiff, some wd is helping ,but looking inside the runner they seem to use a roller type system. Perhaps some of yours have collapsed?? GIVING YOU THE PLAY IN THE RUNNERS. the other thing is the seat bases are pressed steel.could be flexing... when i was on the rr cars ,it was a common snag prob.. i just used to close up the runners in a vice !!!!! WORTH A LOOK .
