A hybrid main shaft if you're using a J type o/d.

I thought that heat from the block may have a detrimental effect on the coil and therefore best to have the spare on the inner wing.

I've used them twice now. No problems and fast turnaround.

I want to fit oversize spindles to my SU's but can't find a reasonably priced reamer. Does anyone know where I might get one.
Thanks

Just watched How to Build British: Aston Martin. Most of the DBS is glued together. Probably not your ordinary Bostick though.

Don't forget access hole for upper starter motor bolt.

Just fitted the K&N filter. The engine no longer clatters on start up as oil pressure builds as was the case with the cheaper filters I used to use. Well worth the small extra cost.

Remember seeing a Vulcan crash here in East Yorkshire back in the 50's. It was miles away. Think it was electrical problems. All the crew got out I believe. Weren't the systems electrical rather than hydraulic? Then saw the last flight from the Humber bridge that was just an overfly. Later after I had got home I saw it doing a display, in the far distance, over Breighton airfield for a photo shoot. Wish I had been there but it was not advertised because of possible crowd problems.

If somebody hasn't mentioned it already, use a guide coat between each flatting down.

My strap was attached to the tonneau so I made a loop on the other end and slide it over the hand brake lever. Works fine.

If you're going to flat out the orange peel suggest you apply a very light guide coat first.

I had similar. When they got dried out the coating curled up and rubbed on the disc's resulting in squeaking noise. Not recommended.
