Hi Guy's
I need some expert advice please.
Just started my 6 after a nut and bolt resto, tuned it up ok with strobe.
My problem is that its running to fast what ever i do with the air bleed adj and worst of all the exhaust manifold and and S/S exhaust pipe is glowing cherry red, oil press is good, water temp spot on, what is causing this.
If there is any member who lives close I would be willing to part with beer tokens for some help, post code IP16 4DU 19 Haylings Grove.
Any thoughts would be grateful

Hi Guys
I need a bit of help / advice, I purchased a " Narrow Alloy Roll Bar " from Rimmers code " RR1150NARROW " it came with no fitting instructions, when I tried to fit it there seems to be bits and pieces in the way under the car making drilling the holes fitting the back plates nearly impossible. I realise I am not the first person to fit one of these so if any of you experts can help me with some advice on how to proceed and may be some pictures or diagrams it would be much appreciated.
In anticipation

Hi Guy's,
I hope I am not doing wrong by posting this on here but:
I'm just testing the water here, I am on the committee of my local club " Sizewell Sports and Social Club, Leiston, Suffolk IP16 4JX " and we want to start up an Annual Classic Car and vintage farm machinery etc event. We are trying to get the inaugural event up and running on Sunday 24th July and was wondering if the if any of the local Eastern groups or any other groups would be interested in attending ?I have tried emailing Eastern groups direct but the email addresses are unobtainable ??We have a large club house with two large bars, one which is part of the main hall which can hold up to 250 people, the show area is a large sports field probably about 3 acres. The bars would obviously be open and available to all who attend and on a Sunday the club does a Carvery lunch menu, but we would also run a BBQ.The event would start at say 10:30 and run through till every one goes as the club is open all day till 11pm.If anybody wanted to stay over I have a 20 unit Camping and Caravan site address:Applefields Camping and Caravan SiteAbbey RoadLeistonSuffolKIP16 4RETel: 01728 833501Kind regardsNigel Parker

Hi Guy's,
I'm about to paint my windscreen frame and rear panel, what is the correct black paint to use !!
Also on my late 74 TR6 should there be a bright trim running along the sills ? and should the sill section under the trim be in the same black paint.
Your thoughts / advice would be very much appreciated.

Hi Pete, no the cost is not private, it was £2130 including picking up and delivering...I did pay cash though and got it considerably cheaper....pays to negotiate ( £1550 )
