BVAC Classic at Thirlstane Castle, Festival of Motoring
We’re very pleased to announce that the 2025 BVAC Classic Festival of Motoring will return to Thirlestane Castle on Sunday 08 June.
Set in the beautiful grounds of Thirlestane Castle, in the Scottish Borders, the BVAC Classic is the premier classic car show for all the family, in Scotland.
It combines over 1,000 wonderful classic and vintage cars, with fabulous Scottish food, drink, retail and displays, making it a wonderful day out for the whole family.
Now heading into its 50th year, the event – proudly organised by the Borders Vintage Automobile Club – has grown from strength to strength, gaining recognition from The Sunday Times as ‘One of the top ten motoring events in the UK’.
In 2025, the event will take place on Sunday 8th June. The show will once again feature some of the finest veteran, vintage and classic cars from across the country, as well as kid’s activities, live motorsport action, stunt displays, a retail village and of course, plenty of lovely food and drink stops to keep you fuelled throughout the day!
Last year’s event, which celebrated 60 years of the iconic Ford Mustang, was deemed a great success, with record breaking attendance and amazing feedback from our visitors.
Following a review of feedback from this years show, we are aiming to make further additions and improvements to the 2025 event whilst retaining the traditional charm and relaxed atmosphere, that makes the BVAC Classic such a great day out.
Visitors will once again be treated to an amazing display of classic cars and machinery, live action, plentiful family activities, great food, drink & retail and much more.
We will be releasing details on our 2025 theme and content over the coming weeks. Tickets will also go on sale in the next few weeks (perfect timing for friends and family Christmas gifts!) and once again, there will be great early bird offers in place for advanced bookers.
