The KVG Branch of the TR Register are holding a Dyno Shoot Out half day, hosted for us by Horsham Developments at their Chieveley premises (Unit i3,Gidley Farm,Chieveley,RG20 8TX)
on Saturday May 17th 2025 from 930am until lunchtime.
We ran a similar event back in 2022 and it was a great success. This is a chance to bring your pride and joy, your garage queen or even your daily driver and put it on Horsham’s rolling road and check out how the car is performing.
A rolling road is exactly as the name suggests, your car on a set of rollers, connected to a sophisticated measuring machine, simulating fast driving conditions where the rollers can be loaded up to measure engine horsepower and torque through a full performance window.
If your car is stock, this is a chance to see how many horses have or haven’t bolted; and if you’ve made tweaks and modifications over the years, a chance to see their impact on performance. As part of the print out from the Dyno run, as well as BHP and Torque readings over the full rev range, you’ll also get a chance to see how the engine Air/Fuel ratio is behaving, which can provide valuable insight and hopefully peace of mind that your engine is operating in a safe zone.
To add some fun to the day we’ll also be running a couple of little competitions similar to our 2022 event, which proved to be a hoot on the day.
Cost for a single run will be £50 and ideally should be paid through the attached link to Horsham Developments. This is a special rate for our club. Numbers will be limited to 15 cars on the day. Latecomers can pay cash on the day but only if we have slots available.
