Novice's TR Track Day, Castle Combe

The safest and most exhilarating way to learn what your TR can do is to explore its performance on a track day!
This event is specially designed to be friendly, safe, and welcoming for novices. Throughout, all attendees will receive free guidance from an ARDS instructor. Our instructors will accompany you to teach you the skills and show you the best lines around the circuit, braking points, and other techniques you need to know to get the most out of your day.
Our Hillclimb and Sprint competitors will also be on hand to jump in the passenger seat and help you choose the right lines, braking points, etc, to share knowledge throughout the day.
On our track day, you drive as fast as you feel comfortable doing so. There’s no pressure to go faster, but help is at hand if you want to drive a little faster and get closer to the limits of your car.
As part of our focus on novice entrants, we are also offering a FREE seminar on-site that will guide you through 'How to get started in TR motorsport' and a basic guide on 'How to prepare your car'—all delivered by Larry Jeram-Croft, who runs the TR Register's Hillclimb and Sprint Championship.

FORMAT
We will have 48 cars running in groups of 12 every 15 minutes. Later, the event moves to an open pitlane set-up with up to 12 vehicles allowed on the circuit at any time. This will ensure everyone gets plenty of track time and minimise any queuing.
The first three laps of the first session for each of the four groups will be behind a circuit course car. These sighting laps are designed to familiarise you with the circuit and teach you the correct racing lines. Cones will mark braking and turning in points and apexes.
