LVG - ALL TRIUMPH DAY @ Shuttleworth - It was a Great day with 250 Triumphs attending.

Thanks to everyone who made it.

LVG joined forces with our local TSSC and on Sunday 8th September, ran an All Triumph Day @ Shuttleworth Museum, where anyone driving a Triumph car was welcome. The day selected was not a formal flying day at the museum and with the weather being rather mixed, aerial activity was limited. The scheduled Wing Walker flying was cancelled due to the weather.

The £10 per car entry cost, gave the DRIVER AND ALL OCCUPANTS, ENTRY to the museum and also the Swiss Garden. There was plenty to see and even if you have previously visited, the museum has recently changed its approach to visitors and the exhibits and catering facilities are now better than ever………………….. especially at the discounted price.

The advance paid ticket also gave admission for a further 30 days after the event.

Those who arrived between 10am-Noon were emailed a photo of their arrival.

Lea Valley Group have run a free to enter Shine & Show Classic Car event for quite a few years, but we have been a victim of our own success with around 200 classics attending each of the last two shows. The pub we used cannot accommodate more, so a new approach was needed. The local TSSC also ran a show @ Duxford Imperial War Museum, but the administration and cost of that event has now become too onerous, so with Shuttleworth offering us ample space and being a great destination in its own right, we joined up and encouraged a meet for All Triumphs.

This must have been the largest gathering of Triumphs in the East of England, this year.
