Let's do The Fens Run to We'll Meet Again Museum
Jean & Geoff Kitchen have very kindly come up with a cracking run that allows those in all parts of the county to meet at the 'We'll Meet Again Museum' at Freiston Shore. There will be two main runs, for those living in and around Lincoln then you will meet at Hanworth Country Park, Potterhanworth, LN4 2DX and travel through the Fens, the flat lands of Lincolnshire to the Museum. Group members in the southern part of the county will meet at Sutterton Services, PE20 2LN where the A16 and A17 meet and head through Boston and out into the Fens. However if you are in the south and want to head north to Hanworth Country Park then that's OK too.
For those of you who do not wish to go to the Museum there is, just a little further up the road on the right hand side a car park at the Freiston RSPB. This is a open area of salt marsh with lots of walking trails. Note there are no Toilets on this site.
At the Museum there are 2 large buildings full of memorabilia and is a jam packed with something for everyone. What will you see? Loads of ‘we had one of those in our house!’ If you are of a certain age. Clothes, Toys, Games, Rationed items shop, uniforms and lots more.
A Lancaster simulator £40 half hour £70 one hour bookable in advance by yourselves.
We have arranged for our cars to be parked in their display area to the rear of the buildings.

The Lunch will be a carvery £15.95 with sweet £19.95. No starters available
The choice of meats is Beef, Gammon, Pork or Turkey. For those with dietary needs please inform the restaurant on the day when you arrive.
