UK European Meeting Coventry - September 2021 - NEW DATES
The TR Register have had to take the difficult decision to postpone the UK European Meeting, until September 2021. The move will see all subsequent meetings in other countries, also put back by one year by universal agreement.
Although much of the detail will be announced in due course, the organising team have in place a new plan and agreements with all the major suppliers.
The theme of the weekend will remain as a celebration of over half a century of the TR Register.
The postponement also adds new features to the event, Mick Forey, TR Register International Director explains;
The weekend meeting is to be held at the Chesford Grange hotel from Friday 10th through to Monday 13th September 2021, therefore three nights dinner, bed and breakfast instead of the original two nights and pricing will need to be increased by a small amount to cover this.
The visit to Blenheim Palace will be on Saturday 11th September 2021. The gala dinner will be held on the Saturday evening. The Motorcycle Museum visit and lunch at National Conference Centre will be on Sunday 12th September 2021. There will be a farewell dinner at the Chesford Grange on the Sunday evening with the usual speeches.
The tour will now take place from Monday 13th September through to Friday 17th September. The Metropole Hotel will make 50 rooms and their ballroom available and we are in discussions with other hotels in Llandrindod Wells to secure another 50-60 rooms. Pricing for the tour should remain the same but the organising team will confirm as soon as possible.
A number of European clubs have collected and transferred money for the 2020 meeting. This can be returned as soon as possible or rolled over to the new dates. UK participants have the opion of having a full refund or rolling their booking over to 2021.
Those who have already booked ferries, are advised to contact their service providers ASAP to organise a rescheduling or refund. Further details including a new brochure and a new booking form will follow in due course.
