Kennet Valley Members invite to Notcutts Classic Show

Kennet Valley TR Group are invited to attend the Notcutts Classic Car Show 2021, Jonathan Tew - Manager writes:

What a strange year we have had, however things appear to be heading in the right direction now with the current vaccine programme being rolled out across the UK. According to Boris the majority of restrictions should be lifted by June 21st which will be great news for everyone.

So I am writing to you to let you know that we do plan to hold our annual Classic Car show this year at Notcutts. The date for our Show is Sunday July 4th.

Now like everything these days this will be subject to change and we will be following government guidelines to the letter so if restrictions are lengthened then we may have to cancel at the last minute but at the moment it looks like we will be able to hold the event.

Now I know everyone will be itching to get out in their Classics as soon as we are allowed (I think mine did about 100 miles between MOT’s) so we do expect the take up for our show to be big and probably bigger than normal as we have all lost a year and are itching to get out. With this in mind we are going to have to restrict numbers for our show this year for the fear of being overwhelmed on the day .

Therefor we are insisting that everyone who wishes to attend this year’s show registers online with me first. You can do this by emailing me at .

Please include in your registration email the below things for me.

  • Full Name
  • Contact Number
  • Car make and model
  • Full Car Registration/Year of Manufacture

Once I have received your email I will confirm back that I have registered you and closer to the show date I will forward you your individual ‘Show Number’ to be displayed in your car to gain entry on the day.

The £5 entrance fee will be collected on the day as we normally do. Monies raised will be donated to Thrive as per our previous charity donations.

The maximum amount of cars we will be able to have attend our show this year is 350. So please get your registration emails to me as soon as you can to avoid disappointment.

Closing date for registration will be Sunday June 6th.

We very much look forward to getting back to normal at Notcutts and if we can hold our show this year I think it will feel like some kind of normality has resumed.

We are also very much looking forward to seeing you all again and of course seeing your cars.

I have attached this year’s flyer to this email which has full details on for those of you who may want to print a few off to pass to your classic car friends or indeed include in your car clubs newsletters.

Any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me, and I look forward to seeing and hearing from you all soon.

There are already 130 bookings, so book now to avoid disappointment.
