Northumbria Group - BVAC Classic - Festival of Motoring at Thirlestane Castle

For the twelth year running the Borders Vintage Automobile Club are holding their BVAC Classic - Festival of Motoring at Thirlestane Castle on Sunday 3rd June 2018.

The event will feature over 1000 vintage vehicles on display. There is also live music and a range of displays and family-friendly activities to enjoy.

2018 is an anniversary year for the Land Rover, Lotus and 2CV and there will be special displays featuring these vehicles where you can get up close and personal. There will also be a special Concorso Italiano display highlighting Italian classics.

The event also supports Sporting Bears who will be raising money for their chosen charity. Sporting Bears Dream Rides take visitors on a ten-mile trip through the Borders countryside in the car of their dreams, simply for a donation to the chosen charity.

A great family day out with a Craft and Gift Fair and displays during the day.

Although for the past few years there has been a good turnout of our members and their TR's, it hasn't been a group led event. This year we have booked a TR Register plot and invite as many of our members to attend.
