The Trent Group meets monthly at The Festival Inn, Ilkeston Road, Trowell, Notts NG9 3PX - a few minutes drive from M1 junctions 25 and 26 on the Nottinghamshire / Derbyshire border. The Group serves the area from Derby eastwards past Nottingham, north to Heanor and to the south into north west Leicestershire. Neighbouring Groups are Derbyshire Dales, TR Lincs and Leicester.
We also have close links with other clubs in the area such that summer meetings can attract a very eclectic mix of classic and sports cars alongside our TRs.
The Group attracts a broad range of enthusiasts – re-builders, 'tinkerers', polishers, track day racers – and there is always good advice to be had from the experts within in the Group and plenty of friendly banter.
Members get involved in a variety of activities – traditional summer events such as steam fairs and charity events, scenic drives, evening classic gatherings (tyre kicking!) and track days.
