UK car with Historic Vehicle Certificate located in south Lincolnshire. I have owned this car for 15 years and slowly brought it up to the high standard it is today. Body off and new uprated chassis, floor pans and suspension members with poly bushes. The gearbox and overdrive have been refurbished. Back to metal respray in Mimosa (original colour), new seats from a Toyota MR2. Engine rebuilt following rebore with new components, standard cam, and the head has been converted for unleaded fuel. The fuel injection system has been overhauled and fitted with a Bosch pump and an aluminium radiator added to the cooling system. The old glass fuse box has been removed and a new modern fuse blade system installed. The diff has been refurbished and now drives the rear wheels with brand new CJ drive shafts. The underside cleaned and painted. New chrome bumpers were added along with headlamp surrounds and a new complete standard mild steel exhaust system. The dashboard fascia is original with refurbished dials and LED bulbs. An aftermarket top opening centre consul sits between the seats which is fitted with two 12v power points for mobile phone and / or SAT NAV connections. More recently a Surrey backlight frame in aluminium, painted mimosa with glass near screen fitted which comes with a soft top Surrey roof and frame. A full soft top roof in blue along with a refurbished pram frame is available with the sale of the car. Invoices for all the above and more are available in the file, along with many photographs of each stage of the cars upgrade. The car is a local show winner. Garaged every night and over-wintered from November to early March every year.
