Triumph TR2 - 4A Oil Cooler Kit, non-thermostatic, Stainless Steel braided hoses. 12 Row Oil Cooler standard adaptor kit incorporating a sandwich plate between original oil filter head and original oil filter housing plus two braided stainless steel 1/2" internal diameter hoses to fit to oil cooler. It's a Revington kit using a Mocal sandwich plate. The hose lengths are suitable for fitting the matrix in front of the radiator on sidescreen cars with the standard oil filter housing. Only been used for about 1500 miles. Revington always maintained that they do not recommend the use of an oil cooler thermostat as an engine never expired for having its oil too cold - a thermostat is something else to go wrong! NOTE ; - This oil cooler radiator is NOT economy product featuring vacuum brazed construction as you will find listed elsewhere!! This form of construction has limited strength resulting in the possibility of cracks occurring particularly around the unions with vibration or when the unions are undone in service. This matrix has all welded construction. This is a quality product not a cheapo far-east jobbie !!
