Fun at International Weekend 2008

A fun and successful weekend was had by all, with plenty of sunshine. A brain-boggling Friday night quiz was quickly followed by live music, parties, BBQs, Bring and Buy, guided walk, scenic convoy run, arena show, rolling road, plenty of trade stalls, Concours and Pride of Ownership competitions, dog show, and much more - even a therapeutic massage could be found on site for those in need!

The full results of the Concours and Pride of Ownership are published in TR Action 229, out on 1st September, together with a report on the weekend.

The IWE working party are already planning next year's event, including some new ideas. If you have any thoughts on what you would like to see there, contact the office. Remember: it is YOUR event!

Book Reviews

Two new essential books for your Triumph library: "Triumph TR7, the Untold Story" by David Knowles, and "Triumph TR2, 3 & 3A In Detail" by Bill Piggott.

Click here for a review of "Triumph TR7 - the untold story" by Steve Redway. This is the book for the whole of the TR7 story, from original design concept through production woes to the final demise of the TR lineage. It also covers in detail the American side of the story, that led to the TR7 slogan being changed from "The shape of things to come" to "The shape of things that win".

Both books are available from our online shop here, or alternatively give Brian a call on 01235 818866.

In the first instance, please contact Steve Redway, Editor of TR Action, either on 01453 842723 or at: steveredway@aol.com

Please don't keep your memories to yourself - share them with Triumph enthusiasts worldwide.
