Goodwood Revival 2015

Arriving on Thursday evening we were immediately summoned to the cricket match by Dave Solomon who was already established in the Pimm's Members Marquee, where we were able to enjoy several tipples at very little expense, no surprise there then.

The following day was filled with all the joys of Goodwood, too many to list the only thing to do is go there and see for yourself. Racing, sideshows, bars. markets, commercial displays and people watching made for a very full day. Along with a large percentage of the people attending we did our best to join in with the 1940's to 1960's theme and didn't the ladies look ,well, shame about the guys. Dave looked well in his new Top Hat, no this is not rhyming slang . Alan Strong was soon in the Bonhams Auction marquee, I grudgingly followed after investing Jeans October housekeeping money on a catalogue, unfortunately neither of us managed to complete a purchase, bids of £100,00.00 increments put us off slightly, maybe next year.

A really fantastic weekend's entertainment for all, must be visited, book up soon for next year
