Farming Yesteryear 2014
Scone Rally 14th of September
Up early to get into Scone due to the predicted hold ups on entry. I collected Bryan Robertson on route and was invited to see the progress on his TR6 restoration. The quality of the chassis and its assembly is breath taking. We arrived at the show field and the club gazebo was already up with a few cars already on the stand. The turn out and range of cars on display was tremendous with two Swallow Doretti`s , a TR2, TR3 and many TR6`s. Some members travelled from the Highlands, and West Coast to support the Club. Over the day we had a lot of interest from the public looking at the cars and asking about the club. My purchases included three bottles of Cairn O Mohr wine and a set of A/F combination spanners to keep the wife happy and the burger roll to keep the hunger away. The weather was good to us all day and the event is always very well attended. Leaving it is enough to try anyone's patience due to the hold ups getting out of the show ground.
