Cannonball Run 2017 - Entries closed
Phew! Seeing the rain tumbling down on 11th July it would appear that we made the right call in cancelling the Cannonball Run.
This run has been a regular feature on the SDG calendar for more years than most of us can remember and, as such, we'd like to try and fit it in for 2017.
So, weather permitting, we are re-scheduling it as below.
Thursday 27th July Horns Lodge, Chailey – The Cannonball Run. This will start at the Horns Lodge and finish in Seaford for an optional fish & chip supper on the beach. Meet at 7-00pm in time to organise food orders ready for a prompt 7-30pm departure. If wanted, give your food order and payment (in cash only) to Jenny Cannon on arrival at the pub. Please bring plenty of loose change to ensure exact money is paid. Suggest you also bring a chair or blanket along. Just turn up on the night if you want to join in and come in your daily driver if TR not on the road.
You will note that this date is our usual last Thursday of the month club night at the White Hart, Netherfield when Glynn was due to lead a run starting and finishing at the White Hart. This will now not take place and there will be no planned club night activity at the White Hart on this date.
Fingers crossed for a dry and, hopefully, warm evening.
