RED ROSE JANUARY BULLETIN
Happy New Year everyone I hope you all enjoyed the festive season and are looking forward to the 2018 season of events.
The Red Rose year ended with the Christmas lunch at the Antrobus Arms on the 10th December which despite the seasonal snow was well attended although a number of members were unable to attend due to the weather conditions.
Plans are well underway for the New Year with the Red Rose AGM on the 14th January which will include details of many of the planned events for 2018 plus updates re Car Fest, review of last year events, 2017 Red Rose awards and committee elections, and the much awaited facebook draw. We also still have a few calendars' left for sale so if you haven't got your copy yet it's not too late!
As many of you will already be aware Bob Eccles will be standing down as Red Rose group leader, I am sure you would all agree he has done a sterling job over the years and I would like to say a huge thank you to him on behalf of everyone for all he has done for the club. Bob will continue in his role as a Regional Director and is also standing for election onto the events committee.
The following committee members are standing for election / re-election and all Red Rose Group members are welcome to join us at the Antrobus meeting on the 14th January and place their vote.

Red Rose Facebook Group
Thank you to those who have joined the Red Rose Facebook group in 2017. We now have over 100 members and the face book prize draw will be taking place at the Red Rose meeting on the 14th January.
Why not join? We will be announcing event details and updates through the year on the Facebook page all TR Register members are encouraged to join and share details of their cars and events and all new member will be entered into next year's prize draw.
Red Rose Photograph Competition
The photo competition was a big success last year and the resulting Red Rose calendar has proved very popular. If you would like to enter a photo and be in with a chance of appearing in the 2019 calendar details will be announced at the AGM and also on our facebook page and website
Red Rose TR Fest
Back by popular demand preparations are well underway for TR Fest on 4th August with the hall booked and the pig for the Hog Roast getting fat!
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions for something they would like included at the event
why not put it forward at the events meeting in February.
