Drive It Day 2017

TR Register members are invited to join Red Rose Group on this year's Drive It Day Run to the British Iron Works Centre on Sunday 23rd April 2017.

We will be meeting at Blakemore Village Craft Centre, Sandiway, Cheshire CW8 2EP at 10am and departing around 10:30am for a run through the Cheshire and Shropshire Countryside. For those who want to make an early start all you can eat breakfast is available at the Blakemere Village restaurant from 9am.

We will be departing around 10:30 am and route books / directions to the British Iron Works will be available on the day.

The British Ironwork Centre is a family company long dedicated to, and passionate about the preservation and creation of quality metal work, in all its forms.

The centre is home to a splendid collection of magnificent life size animal sculptures from the majestic Silver Back Gorilla, to an adorable assortment of Farmyard animals. There really is something for everyone.

The indoor show areas allow you to escape into a treasure trove of must-have trinkets and interior adornments together with a cafe, whilst the outdoor area is abundant with architectural structures and sculptures that must be seen to be believed. We will be returning back to Cheshire with the option of joining us for an early evening meal at the Alvanley Arms Tarpoley (CW6 9DS). Menu details are available at www.alvanleyarms.co.uk.

Pre booking for the run is not essential although places for the meal need to be confirmed in advance.
