Drive It Day (Bunny Run) - 24th April 2016

We have decided, partly due to other pressures on our time, to re-use a significant part of our Autumn Leaves Run of four years ago. We know that it was enjoyed at the time, and as far as we know there have been no club runs over the same route since then, so it should make a great day out to enjoy and celebrate our cars on Drive It Day.

This means that, in time-honoured fashion, we will meet in Tesco's car park in Macclesfield from 10 o'clock for a 10:30 departure. Lunch will be a one and a half hour stop at Chatsworth, allowing time for everything from picnics to four-course champagne lunches, as you choose.

Because the "regular" pub at Bollington has not been up to par recently in many peoples' eyes, we will have a new finishing stretch to the run, and we have booked an early evening meal at The Merlin, Wilmslow Road, Alderley Edge, (website: http://www.themerlin.co.uk) where we will have a private dining room to ourselves.

The menus are available on the website (ours will be the Sunday menu which includes a wide range of mains as well as traditional roasts). We have been asked for meals to be pre-ordered 7 days in advance, although we have also been assured it will be ok for a reasonable number of people who could not pre-book to be accommodated.
