TR Lincs March 2016

Well Spring has arrived, apologies for the picture but it's the only one I could find with reference to "Lambs". Spring Lambs, get it? Oh never mind! Many of you will have been out no doubt and finished off those winter jobs or as in my case resolved to leave them until next winter. With the season about to kick off I think 2016 is going to be a great year for TR Lincs and looking at the programme that we have so far, which you can view/download via this link, there are some great events and runs out.

Here are some of the highlights since the February Report

Inter Marque Quiz - 26th February

What a shock, 21 teams of 6 took part in the annual Inter Marque Quiz held at the Abbey Lodge in Woodhall, never known a quiz to be so popular, we even ran out of chairs. As some of you know it was TR Lincs turn to host the event as we came 2nd last year, some consolation prize, and I think we did a really good job. Credit in spades goes to Phil and Dianne O'Hara, David and Jane McDonald for compiling the questions and to Malcolm and Sherry Brown and Mags Telford for helping out on the night with collecting and driving the laptop to keep scores despite the Quiz Master's (yours truly) attempt to rush them. The winner, by a close margin, were The Well Wishers with 2nd place taken by Abbey Lodge Too - The Sequel both from the MG Owners' club who will have the pleasure of hosting it next year. Oh and where did we come you ask? TR Lincs two teams came a very creditable 5th and 6th place in what was a particulalrly challenging set of questions - Well done to us.
