Kennet Valley & Chiltern TR Group attends RAF Benson Family Day & Classic Car show

Kennet Valley TR Group & Chiltern Group members were some of the 300 plus classic cars that attended the RAF Benson Family day, this annual show is becoming more popular with record vehicles attending this year.

Car were parked in the hangers due to the inclement August weather but were in the company of serving military helicopter. Visitors were not only treated to classic cars, active military aircraft including the Puma helicopter based at Benson but flybys by the Battle of Britain display with Spitfire, Hurricane and Lancaster bomber and of course the ever accurate and superb flying of the Red Arrows display team.

A really super day out and great fun for all who attended.
