Kennet Valley TR Group June Club Night - My Pride & Joy Results
Kennet Valley TR Group June Club Night was their annual 'My Pride & Joy Night' where members compete for the coveted Cup to have on their mantle piece for a year, this year 11 cars entered despite the threat of rain and presented a fine array of TR, Stag & a Corvette.
It was a closely fought contest where cars were not only judged on their cleanliness, detail, memorabilia, enthusiasm and knowledge showing in deed the car is their pride and Joy.
The result was a win for Denis & Val Carter with their well loved, used and also being in excellent fettle for its age and usage. It's the red TR6 you can see in the picture.
THE RESULT:
- Red TR6 BJD 490H – Denis & Val Carter = 59.9 points
- Green TR5 UWE 9F – Mike & Linda Field = 57 points
- White TR3 160 MPK – Richard Owen = 55.65 points
All cars were in super condition and the rain that fell, clearly showed that polish was not in short supply.
Emrhys Barrell's Bucket list achievement and new Pride & Joy, he finally has a Corvette, and a very nice one too!
