Kennet Valley TR Group hold their AGM at March Club night

Kennet Valley TR Group held their Annual General Meeting at the Angel, Woolhampton, the Angel had well prepared for the larger than normal attendance with the meeting room now revamped by removing a wall to make it bigger and have more seating space.

Phil Horsley - Group Leader presented a report on the very active past 12 months, runs, shows, events, challenges etc. and thanked members for their enthusiasm and support to the Group, he also thanked the Committee for all the hard work throughout the year keeping the cogs smoothly running.

Mike Field was presented with the Bright Spark award, this is awarded for a member that has an idea for a new event or done great work to keep the club cogs turning. Mike was awarded the trophy all his hard work in the background for many a year, keeping regular communication to members and support to the committee. David Westwood - Treasurer presented the annual accounts which are in a healthy position, he also announced a donation of £150.00 to each of the Groups chosen charities, MacMillan, Thames Valley Air Ambulance and the Henry Surtees Foundation. The committee were reelected en bloc and David Rumens now takes the role of Deputy Group Leader.
