Kennet Valley TR Group enjoy TR Register International Weekend & a prize winning TR, even the Red Arrows joined in!

Kennet Valley TR Group members enjoyed the TR International 2016 in Lincoln, after a run from Berkshire up north, they attended the weekend. Those well needed spares were sought and acquired along with many interesting forums on technical matters of these great sports cars.

Some members also took their wares to sell and add to their TR funds and offload some of those parts no longer wanted.

Phil Horsley - Group Leader entered his TR250 into Pride of Ownership for TR4, 4a, 5 & 250 class, after much cleaning and polishing during the Saturday morning the car was judged in the afternoon, then is was the long nail biting wait until Sunday afternoon in the display ring to see if he had achieved his goal?

And yes, he'd or should i say she'd done it at 49 years old, after Phil buying this first TR in 2000, using her until 2008, they saving to have a body off restore, and then rebuilding her as a therapy to overcome Lymphoma and chemotherapy, his dream of 16 years was realised winning the Manvers Trophy and gold award, as you can imagine, well pleased.
