A GREAT TRACK DAY for Kennet Valley TR Group at Castlecombe despite the weather

Kennet Valley TR Group members enjoyed a day out at Castlecombe track day, Den & Val Carter, Eddie Mace, & Stewart Highnett blasted their TR's around the track.

Den and Val did about 22 laps before giving up for the day...nothing wrong just didn't want to push their luck with the car having to drive home after and get them to Spain later this year, they loved all the laps they did!

Eddie's in his recently specifically for track and hill climb events purchased TR6, went well and was still going well right up to the close of play, but of course there is always time to have a chat and look at another TR racer.

Stewart also enjoyed his day, proving what all the work he had done on his TR6 was well worthwhile.

There was a torrential downpour in the middle of the day when the KVTR group drivers were all out on track, see picture for what vision was like.

Eddie and Den went out together in Eddie's car and they had a tricky moment on a wet track but Eddie did well, all the right moves at right time, he doesn't hang about, well of course none of them hung around.

Not unexpectedly, there is always the obligatory look and lean over the engine to see what more could be done to get that extra power and the anorak chin wag.

Simply a fantastic day in our TR's - great fun!!!!! Roll on next year.
