The Owl Run - July 2nd 2017

After meeting at Staunton Garden Centre to the north west of Gloucester for coffee, our route took us through some great scenery including the Malvern Hills, to the International Birds of Prey Centre at Newent who do so much for Avian Conservation. After a picnic in the shade of an old oak tree we had a very interesting guided tour of the facility and a flying display by some of the birds, most notably Scarp the Burrowing Owl who really was a hoot!
