Well here we are in 2017 already. I hope you've all enjoyed your winter break and have been able to do the few jobs on your cars to get ready for another year of TR driving and enjoyment. A good number of Devon members joined other Groups and friends at the Limpley Stoke Christmas bash in Bath in January which was most enjoyable, so thanks to Lesley and Sally for making the arrangements once more.
I'm pleased to say that we've had a number of good articles written for our newly introduced In the Garage newsletter. It seems that there's plenty going on behind those closed doors which members are rightfully, willing to share, so thank you all for your contributions and thank you Andrew, our editor. The next edition will soon be ready but please do keep the stories coming. If you're in the Devon Group but have not received these newsletters or information from me by email and wish to do so, please could you contact me to ensure I have your correct email address so that I can update my list. My contact details are at the back of the magazine and on the website.
Another email that I've sent out recently is about our events for 2017, you may have already spotted this on our Devon Group website too. I update these events from time to time, so it's always a good idea to have a look to see what's coming up.
Talking about what's coming up, we started our regular Friday night meetings in February on the 1st Friday at the Rising Sun, Woodlands and the 3rd Friday at the Half Way House, Willand, these will continue through the year, so please do come along for a friendly chat over a drink, around 7.30, or a bit earlier if you want to have food.
February also saw the start of our programme of Sunday lunchtime meets and drives, with the first one on 19th at the Red Lion, Broadclyst after a coffee meet up beforehand. Arranged once again by Roger and Maureen, so thank you both. Our March lunch will be on the 19th details will follow, so you should have had an email from me with the details by now!
