Hello All, Upcoming events for March are as follows:
Wednesday 1st March:
Club night at The Millstone Inn, Millstone Lane, Barnack, nr Stamford, PE9 3ET.
Monday 20th March:
Club night at The Three Horseshoes, Wistow, PE28 2QQ
Saturday 25th March:
The lunchtime meeting is booked for 12.30 pm at The Red Lion, Peterborough Road, Warmington. PE8 6TN. It is just off the A605, about 3 miles west of the A1 at Peterborough.
We welcome you all to a very nice Pub which produces good food at reasonable prices. We need to pre book the food, so please confirm your attendance and choice of food from the Menu attached below to Dave on either davidburton14@btinternet.com or tel: 07768 792879 by 18th March please. We look forward to seeing you.
Friday 31st March – Sunday 2nd April:
Practical Classics Classic Car and Restoration Show, at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham. Advance tickets £16. http://www.necrestorationshow.com/ Tickets on the day cost £19.
Sunday 2nd April
Classic Rally & Autojumble, Shuttleworth College, Old Warden, Beds.
Whilst we appreciate this is not a March event, advance tickets must be booked if we want a club stand. A minimum of 4 cars is needed, the advance ticket price being £4 per car. We need to know whether you wish to attend by 28.02.17 at the latest. Please advise Trevor by email including your TR model and registration number. Initial payment will be made for the booking out of club funds. I'm afraid therefore, you will have to pay this if you advise us you wish to attend, whether you are still available to attend on the day or not, unless a substitute can be found. Should we not get 4 participants it will still be possible to obtain advance tickets individually, or pay individually on the gate when the price will be £8. http://www.shuttleworth.org/events/classicrally/
Parts Wanted: One of our members, Neal Adams is looking for a pair of seats for his 1969 TR6 that he can view before purchase. Sound frames are required, but he will consider ones which need re-upholstering. If you can help him, please email him at: NealandPam@aol.comThank you.
