I'm looking for a pair of twin SUs and manifold for a mate who is restoring a TR6.

There is a Triumph 2500S at Chartists garage in Hyde Cheshire, been there for a year or so, The owner was to have a V8 Stag unit fitted in place of the straight 6, but I am unsure what has progressed.

 

I will call Gareth tomorrow and see whats going on.

 

Quite why anyone would want to do such a "Mod" is beyond me.

These were on my 5 when I dragged into the sunlight after 37 years in a garage!

The 2500s Manifold is the one you want if you get the Carbs also its Happy Days.A set of Dolly Sprint Carbs will also do.

ANDREW,the 2500s Manifold has an 6 or 8% Slope on it,some get this machined off as it raises the Carbs and hits the Bonnet on some Cars,I dont know weather this is an issue with a 6.
