TR4 Oil Gauge Pipe Route

Im struggling to determine the original route for the oil line from the filter housing through the flexible hose and onto the solid pipe clipped to the bulkhead.

Does the solid pipe from the filter housing clip to the front or rear fuel pump stud?

Where should the solid pipe run down to the bulkhead to the flexible. Along the wiper motor shelf? or along the battery shelf?

Does anyone have any pictures?

Some progress......I found a picture of the fuel pump showing the pipe clipped to the rearmost stud.

First 3 are before restoration and good reason to believe

these represent the ex-factory condition.

Last photo is after restoration (now using electric fuel pump)

Hi Andrew,

I think Alan has the correct route.

I chose to run my pipe backwards along the lower level to keep it out of the way a little better.

The flexible pipe is apprx the same as Alan's.
