I bought my box from the TR Shop and it needed a fair amount of persuasion to get it to fit. It was a clearance special and had probably become distorted over the time it was on the shelf.

I have a quick question regarding the glove box.

What should it be on the TR2?

I seem to have an aluminium box with a wooden back. The wood looks very "built in my garage", but I find it weird that someone would use a sheet of aluminium to make a box.

Also the aluminium seems to match the glove box door inside panel?

There is no lining in my box, just the bare metal.

Probably home made. On tr2 the same as tr3 from a cardboard / paper material.

When getting wet due to leakage, it can deteriorate, so replacing it with a metal version is understandable..

I used the original version, But coated the top and back so water wont do harm.

The inside of the lid is correct with aluminium .
