johnhodges
Advice needed, my friend is restoring a 250, and needs a complete handbrake assembly as his is missing. Am I right in assuming it's the same as a 4A? Does anybody have a spare for sale? John
PYU940F
Hi The TR4A is a fly off handbrake and I believe the TR5/250 was the same. I know the pawl is no longer available for the fly off but the rest of the system is readily available as new. The simplest solution is to fit the TR6 non fly off or the TR250/4A system and have the pawl manufactured. It does not look complicate but a good condition "loaner" needs to be sourced to be used as a pattern. Cheers Simon
bob-menhennett
John One the specialist firms might have a decent second hand one. TRGB , TR Bitz , TR Trader , TR Shop. Details in either the TR Action magazine or an Internet search. Bob

stuart
250/5 would have the same handbrake as a 6 i.e. not a flyoff but a conventional. Stuart.
