I can't seem to find the original items which I removed. Also does the ally bit look standard or has someone drilled and bodged it? ed_h Posted October 18, 2017 Report Share Posted October 18, 2017 Lee-- One end of that main oil gallery had a soft aluminum plug in it from the factory. Removing it destroys it. The hole should be threaded for a pipe plug, but some minor surgery might be necessary first. You can't simply unscrew the Ali plug. So perhaps they drilled into it then tapped it to insert a grub screw. Roger Quote Link to post Share on other sites
