brian -r Posted August 16, 2017 Report Share Posted August 16, 2017 I have the original style seats in my1970 car and recently noted that the tilt lever mechanism was loose, bodged by PO with self tappers. Removed the offending passenger seat to find the two extension plates are missing from the rear of the seat slide, so now two jobs to do. I'm not convinced that the original fixing method is all that strong so as I've never need to use the seat tilt facility I'm considering fixing the seat permanently to the rail.
